Rear trailing arm and subframe bushes wear causing imprecise handling, tyre scrub, and clunking over bumps.
Vague rear end handling. Rear tyre wear on inner edge. Clunking from rear over bumps.
Normal wear. 30+ years of use. Rubber degradation from oil and ozone.
Inspect bushes visually for cracking or collapse. Lever test with pry bar to check for excessive movement.
Replace all rear subframe and trailing arm bushes. Polyurethane bushes provide better handling than OEM rubber. Wheel alignment mandatory after replacement.
