BMW 730d MAF Sensor Failure — Rough Running
The mass air flow sensor on E65/E66 730d accumulates contamination over time causing incorrect air mass readings. The ECU compensates until limits are reached, causing rough running, hesitation and poor economy. Fault codes P0100/P0101/P0102 stored. Cleaning with MAF cleaner resolves approximately 40% of cases before replacement.
