The front air suspension struts on E70 X5 develop leaks at the air bag rolling lobe, causing the front to sag overnight. An SLS warning light appears. Continued driving on deflated struts damages the bump stops and strut internals. Replacement front strut: £300-600 per side. Conversion to conventional springs is available for £700-1,200.
