The 730Ld all-wheel drive transfer case can develop oil leaks at the output shaft seals at high mileage. Transfer case oil loss causes vibration, heat buildup and eventual failure of the unit. Check for oily residue under the centre of the car near the transmission tunnel. Transfer case fluid service every 40,000 miles is critical.
