Oil dripping from the rear axle pinion seal area on the Mercedes Sprinter W906. The pinion seal deteriorates with age and under the high torque loads of commercial use. The repair requires draining the axle oil, removing the propshaft flange, and pressing in a new seal. Always replace the axle oil after the seal replacement. Use the correct SAE 90 hypoid gear oil to MB 235.2 specification.
